NFL Schedule Week 2: Peyton Manning and Eli Manning Combined For Over 900 Yards and 11 Touchdowns Before Brothers Battle At MetLife (SWR Preview)

The NFL season is now officially started after all 16 teams played in Week 1 and after the dust has settled one thing is clear, the Manning brothers in Peyton and Eli can really throw the ball.

Peyton had the biggest day of anyone in fantasy or reality in Week 1, as he passed for 462 yards and seven touchdowns against the Super Bowl champions Baltimore Ravens and now he will prepare to take on his brother Eli and the Giants in Week 2 at MetLife Stadium. Peyton did something that no one else has done in over 40 years and he looked good doing it, throwing crisp passes to open receivers and avoiding trouble when he could.

Manning will be looked at as a fantasy stud now and he is just a surgeon with the football and his brother put up some excellent numbers in week 1 as well, although his team had totally different results. Eli threw an interception on his first pass of the season and despite the fact that he had three for the game, he made up for it with 450 passing yards and four touchdowns as the G-Men lost to the Cowboys.

Now the two prolific and Super Bowl winning quarterbacks will play each other at MetLife Stadium and it will be the first meeting of the Manning's cine Peyton put on his new uniform. Peyton spread the ball around to his receivers, as Wes Welker, Julius Thomas and Demaryius Thomas all had two scores, while Victor Cruz was the main target for the Giants, scoring three touchdowns in his first game since signing his big contract.

Eli has always thrown interceptions and it has nothing to do with the caliber quarterback he is, only the style, as he is not afraid to make mistakes and to take chances, as evidenced by his Super Bowl winning throws. While sometimes he has a game like he did against the Cowboys, he often makes up for it with clutch plays and while he had three picks, two of those were off receivers hands and now the Giants will try and right the ship against a team that looks like it can't be stopped in the Denver Broncos.

Stats for the Week 1 games from the bros:

Peyton Manning

27-of-42 for 462 yards and 7 touchdowns

W against Ravens

Eli Manning

27-of-42 for 450 yards and 4 touchdowns
