NFL Scores & Results: Winners and Losers in NFL Preseason Week 1

The NFL Preseason kicked off with a bang as 12 teams hit the football fields around the country in anticipation for the 2013 NFL season. Here are all the results and final scores from Thursday evening's football game.

Baltimore Ravens 44-16 Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Super Bowl champs looked pretty good in their Week 1 Preseason matchup against the Buccaneers. From the looks of it, if Joe Flacco were to go down, Tyrod Taylor would be able to take over. Okay, that's an exaggeration, but the third-year quarterback completed 13/23 passing attempts along with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Flacco complete 7/9 passes, but threw an interception.

Cincinnati Bengals 34-10 Atlanta Falcons
After the starters left the field, Dane Sanzenbacher took over the game. He brought back a 71-yard punt return for the score and then caught two passes for 59 yards, 36 of which came on a pass from John Skelton. The Falcons couldn't stop the run as quarterback Josh Johnson rushed for 64 yards, Rex Burkhead went for 52 and Giovani Bernard finished with a touchdown on 28 yards rushing, taking 10 handoffs in the game.

Cleveland Browns 27-19 St. Louis Rams
By halftime, the Browns were clearly ahead after taking a 20-10 lead. Brandon Weeden getting traded? Please! The man put on a show going 10/13 with 112 passing yards and a touchdown in his brief time on the field. The Browns' defense was a headache after intercepting backup Keller Clemens twice. He completed less than 50 percent of his passes with an unimpressive 6/13 performance.

Washington Redskins 22- 21 Tennessee Titans
The Redskins are already playing dramatic games and its only the preseason. Chris Johnson thought it was the regular season after going 58 yards for the score. The Titans took a quick 14-7 lead, forcing the Redskins to play from behind. Rex Grossman threw an eight-yard TD to Leonard ankerson, tying things at 14. Both teams then scored touchdowns in the fourth quarter, but the Redskins got the last laugh, connecting on a two-point conversion with 5:25 left to play.

Denver Broncos 10- 6 San Francisco 49ers
We might have been treated to a Super Bowl preview as the 49ers and Broncos hooked up in this preseason matchup. The 49ers are usually known for their defense, but on this evening, it would be the Broncos' who would make the stops. They forced four turnovers, two interceptions and two fumbles. The fumble picked up by Shaun Phillips in the second quarter made the difference in the game, giving the Broncos the victory.. Colin Kaepernick went 4/4 with 38 passing yards. Peyton Manning went 2/4 with 13 passing yards.

Seattle Seahawks 31-10 San Diego Chargers
It might as well have been a regular season game. The Seahawks did it all in this meeting. There was even a clip of Russell Wilson getting away on a killer scramble, avoiding the sack, turning a possible loss of yardage into a positive. When Wilson hit the bench after a 2/6 for 23 passing yards performance, Tarvaris Jackson came in and put the game away. He completed 8/9 passes with 128 passing yards and two touchdowns. Heck, even Brady Quinn wa making plays as he finished 6/11 with 59 passing yards and a touchdown. San Diego took an early 3-0 that lasted until the second quarter. The Seahawks scored 24 unanswered points, totally dominating this first preseason game.
