Cleveland Browns Rumors: Former Eagles RB Dion Lewis Goes Carmleo Anthony On Carlos Ortiz, Tweets About Aaron Hernandez 'Snitch' Before Deleting Post

Twitter can be a great friend to athletes at times as they can interact with fans on a personal level that wasn't possible years ago, but if used the wrong way it can be quite a headache, which former Eagles and current Cleveland Browns running back Dion Lewis saw firsthand when he tweeted about the Aaron Hernandez case and calling one of the arrested accomplices a "snitch".

According to Pro Football Talk, Lewis tweeted out about the recent findings in the Hernandez case referring to one of his accomplices, Carlos Ortiz, telling authorities that he was told by Ernest Wallace, another accomplice, that Hernandez admitted to shooting Odin Lloyd. Lewis wrote "Aaron Hernandez homie snitched on him lol. #unrealfriends" before deleting it and afterwards he responded to his followers: "I ain't say he was right for murdering him genius."

The Melo reference of course is to his infamous "Stop Snitching" video from years ago when he was a young player. The Hernandez case has been a big issue for the NFL and as more information and evidence comes out about the incident the worse it has looked for Hernandez and he could end up facing life in prison if convicted for the murder. Hernandez will next appear in court again in two weeks and he previously was denied bail twice by a judge.

Hernandez was arrested and charged with first degree murder and was also released by the Patriots and police searched his home, football locker, cars as well as his video surveillance system for evidence.

Here is the tweet.
