Did Aaron Hernandez Pull Trigger In Odin Lloyd Shooting? Prosecutors Won't Say If Patriots Star Was Shooter In Murder, Accomplice Carlos Ortiz Flipped To Police On TE?

The Aaron Hernandez murder case continues to grow as two accomplices in custody go through the legal process and after Ernest Wallace was arraigned on Monday, more information came out, although prosecutors still did not say whether Hernandez pulled the trigger or not.

According to Pro Football Talk, the prosecution has still not said whether Hernandez was one of the men who sprayed five bullets into Odin Lloyd, although they are confident in the first degree murder charges. District Attorney Samuel Sutter said that the investigation is ongoing and that they have only charged the former tight end with murder and that it is still early to say who the shooter was. Hernandez will be in court again in two weeks and that could be one of the next chances to find out more details in the case.

Prosecutors linked Hernandez to the murder through video evidence and shell casings, as they say that surveillance cameras at Hernandez's house show him with a gun minutes after the killing, but they have not said that he fired any of the shots. The body was found less than a mile from his home and ammunition was found there as well. Hernandez was arraigned in court and denied bail nearly two weeks ago and he was painted as the orchestrator of the killing.

Hernandez could be facing life in prison for the charges and there is a chance now that one accomplice, Carlos Ortiz, has flipped on the tight end, as he gave police information about a location where they found clothing and more ammunition that was taken in as evidence. Ortiz could give details about who pulled the trigger and now Wallace will be in custody without bail until another hearing in July.

Wallace was charged with accessory after the fact, but no more details about his involvement came out and more should come later when Hernandez is in court. Warrants for searches executed on Hernandez's home will be released Tuesday and Ortiz and Wallace were both arrested as accomplices in the case after Lloyd's body was found near Hernandez's home.
