Elisha Cuthbert and Toronto Maple Leafs Star Dion Phaneuf Married In Canada After Devastating Boston Bruins NHL Playoffs Loss (Photos)

Hollywood actress and beauty Elisha Cuthbert and Toronto Maple Leafs star Dion Phaneuf were married on Saturday in Canada, according to Us Weekly, making it a trio of athletes weddings, including Robert Griffin III and Matt Barkley.

According to reports, Cuthbert and Phaneuf were married at St. James Catholic Church in Prince Edward Island and the event came the summer after the Leafs suffered a devastating loss to the Boston Bruins in the playoffs, losing in seven games. The 28-year-old star and the actress have been taking for some time and she wanted the wedding to be formal.

Cuthbert is considered to be one of the most beautiful actresses in the world and the "24" and "Happy Endings" star was also seen watching her beau at the playoffs this past postseason.

CHECK here for photos of the couple.

From earlier in the postseason when Cuthbert was seen making a funny gesture at a playoff game:

David Krejci had a hat trick in Game 4 against the Toronto Maple Leafs to give Boston a 3-1 series advantage in the NHL playoffs, but the most looked at story after the game was the eye roll Dion Phaneuf's awesomely funny fiancée Elisha Cuthbert made after the goal was scored.

Cuthbert was sitting with the wife of Toronto goalie James Reimer and after the goal in response to someone nearby comments, she gave the eye roll seen around the world. The goal ended the game and gave Boston a 3-1 advantage and made a chance of a Toronto home playoff win after a decade nearly impossible, as Boston has the next game at home. The Maple Leafs were looking good, but after Phaneuf was caught in the Bruins zone, the team had a chance to turn the tables and score the goal.

The Air Canada Centre sat in stunned silence at the goal, which was the third for Krejci during the game and put Boston in control of the series with Game 5 coming. The series has been a tight one, but Boston has been able to pull ahead of the Maple Leafs at every chance and now the team can finish things off in the next game. Toronto had a 2-0 lead after scores from Joffrey Lupul and Cody Franson, but the team could not stop Krejci and the team also got a goal from Patrice Bergeron.

The Toronto Maple Leafs hadn't had a playoff home game in over a decade until this series against the Boston Bruins and they are still without a victory either after dropping Game 4 in overtime on a winning goal from David Krejci, which sparked a great reaction from WAGs Elisha Cuthbert and April Reimer.

According to Yahoo Sports, Elisha Cuthbert, who is the "Happy Endings" actress married to Dion Phaneuf and April Reimer, wife of losing goalie James, were seated together following the goal and the cameras went right to them after it happened. It caught the reaction between the two, which saw April look up awkwardly at Elisha as others in the crowd celebrated the victory for Boston despite being in Toronto.

Dion Phaneuf made one of the biggest mistakes of the play to allow the goal, as he was aggressive while attacking the zone and Boston was able to get the goal past to take a 3-1 series lead.

The two later said that they were reacting to some comments from someone seated near them, with April writing: "For those who were thinkin @happyelishas and I were rolling our eyes @ eachother. Was the jerk beside us #rudecomment pic.twitter.com/zcZ6bEgwdS"
