In their head-to-head history, Bartoli has the 1-0 advantage. It's not an adequate sample size, but if anything, we should be in for a good battle as they went three sets in their meeting at New Haven in 2012.

Analysts expect Stephens to have a bright future. Like Bartoli, she's also chasing after her first grand slam title. However, only one can advance into the semifinals.
