Aaron Hernandez Fiancé Shayanna Jenkins Worried About Violence As Officials Check Bristol Gang Tattoo Affiliations, Girlfriend Watches Star Enter County House Of Corrections

Aaron Hernandez is currently in jail at the Bristol County House Of Corrections and his fiance Shayanna Jenkins was seen crying in his bail hearing and is worried about anything that could happen to him while he is behind bars.

According to Pro Football Talk, Hernandez is in lockup and officials have checked him for gang affiliated tattoos to ensure that he will be safe in jail. The officials were worried that another gang member in jail making a name for himself in retribution against Hernandez and they checked him to ensure that no rival gang would do that. Experts said that Hernandez could be a target in jail as he awaits trial.

He was originally denied bail and then was back in court on Thursday for another hearing, but he was denied yet again. Lawyers painted him as a cold blooded killer and the leader of the shooting and the judge agreed with the original decision. Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson spoke with Hernandez and said his demander was good and that he was in a good head while starting his time behind bars.

His girlfriend was visibly upset and now Hernandez is facing life in prison for the murder of Odin Lloyd. The body was found a mile from his home with shell casings that may link back to Hernandez and now he will have to wait his fate behind bars. The 27-year-old Lloyd was a semi-pro football player and now his family will have to wait and see what the judgment will be in the trial. Hernandez is also being looked at in connection with another double murder from last year.

"We'll be looking at his tattoos to see if there are any symbols that affiliate with gangs," Bristol County Sheriff Thomas Hodgson told the Boston Herald.  "We have to always be vigilant around security and not place him somewhere where there are rival gang members."
