Aaron Hernandez Accomplice Carlos Ortiz Arrested In Bristol After Homicide Of Odin Lloyd, Charged As Fugitive From Justice As Boston Double Murder Investigated

The Aaron Hernandez case is slowly widening and more details are coming out and now another man has been arrested, as 27-year-old Carlos Ortiz was taken in by police in Hernandez's hometown of Bristol in connection with the death of Odin Lloyd.

According to Fox News, Ortiz was arrested in Connecticut and taken into police custody for being a fugitive from justice and has waived extradition to Massachusetts and he is being held on $1.5 million bail in Hartford now. Officials said that he will be in court again in July and this follows the arrest of Hernandez, who was taken on Wednesday and arraigned in court on charges of murder.

Ortiz was arrested in Hernandez's hometown of Bristol and now police are continuing to look into the case of Odin Lloyd's death as well as another murder on Boston from last year that involved two homicides. Hernandez is facing first degree murder and gun charges in the case and now he may also be involved in a July 2012 double murder.

Hernandez was arrested and released by the Patriots on Wednesday and the case against him was laid out by the state and included pictures, surveillance and test messages between the tight end and the victim. The 27-year-old Lloyd was connected to Hernandez through his girlfriend and text messages were read that put Lloyd and Hernandez together on the night of the murder and motive stems from an incident at a nightclub.

Hernandez could be facing life in prison of convicted and now the NFL has another high profile murder case to deal with, following Ray Lewis from many years ago. Hernandez has a young daughter and was set to be married and now his future is in doubt after being one of the top young players in the NFL for the Patriots.
