NBA News And Rumors: Kobe Bryant, Blake Griffin And Other Stars Read The Meanest Tweets About Them From Fans (Video)

With the boom in popularity of social networks, particularly in Twitter, many fans have been given the opportunity to shares some words with their favorite celebrities.

They also are granted the chance to share some harsh words with celebrities who aren't their favorites as well.

Some of the harshest words can come from sports fans, and in a special "mean tweets" segment on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the audience was allowed to hear and see the hilarious tweets and reactions of the NBA players the tweets were addressed too.

The premise is simple: People tweet terrible things about NBA players. NBA players read them out loud and react.

The NBA's Rajon Rondo, Kobe Bryant and other players appeared in the segment to read mean tweets about themselves in one of the show's regular features. However, some players like Rondo and Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, did not seem to amused, while Blake Griffin and Chris Paul had a better sense of humor about it.

It would have been pretty humorous if they were able to get San Antonio's Tiago Splitter reaction to tweets after being made a trending topic after having his shot blocked by Miami's LeBron James during Game 2 of the NBA Finals on Sunday night.

Check out Bryant, Griffin, Paul, Shaq, Metta World Peace and others read the "mean tweets" about themselves below.
