NFL Draft Questions: What Time Does 2013 First Round Start, Will Raiders and 49ers Trade Picks? Who Has The Most Selections and Where Can I Watch the Draft?

The NFL Draft is starting on Thursday after months of scouting and speculation and with the number one overall pick, the Kansas City Chiefs will start things off at 8 p.m. in primetime from New York City at Radio City Music Hall with Roger Goodell and the league ready to draft.

The team is likely to select Luke Joeckel or Eric Fisher with the number one overall pick and they will be followed by the Jacksonville Jaguars, Oakland Raiders and the Philadelphia Eagles with the Detroit Lions rounding out the top five. 23 players will be attending the draft after being invited by the league and some may be the top picks, including Dee Milliner, Lane Johnson, DJ Fluker, EJ Manuel and Dion Jordan.

What Time Does First Round Start?

The first round will get started at 8 pm on Thursday, while the second round will pick up at 6:30 pm on Friday and will also have the third round. Saturday will start at noon with rounds four through seven and ESPN will broadcast each round along with the NFL Network. For the first round teams have 10 minutes to make their selections, the second has seven and the rest each team will have five minutes to work with.

Will the Raiders and 49ers Trade Picks?

Reports have both teams looking to make moves, with Oakland wanting to trade down and the 49ers trading up and the two could be solid partners. The Bay area teams both could use each other, as the Raiders want more picks and the 49ers have 13 picks to work with and should be able to move into the first round with no issues. The 49ers want an elite defender and if they trade up to number three they will get a chance to take someone like Sharrif Floyd, Dion Jordan or Dee Milliner.

Who Has The Most Selections

The 49ers have 13 and the Ravens have 12, while the Jets, Vikings and Rams all have two number one picks due to trades from this year and last year.

Where Can I Watch the Draft?

On TV the event will be broadcast on ESPN and the NFL Network and both companies will be streaming on line at NFL.com and Watch ESPN on ESPN.com.
