Boston Marathon 2013 Live Stream: TV Coverage, Streaming Information and Race Time For 117th Annual Event As Red Sox Face Tampa Bay Rays On Patriots Day at 11:05 AM ET

The Boston Marathon is underway for the 117th time in the city and after dealing with heat issues last year, the cool temperatures on Monday will make it less of a problem for runners who are taking part in the grand city tradition.

The Boston Red Sox will take part in the Patriots Day tradition as well, playing the Tampa Bay Rays at 11:05, while many others will take part in the race, including over 2,000 who sat out last year due to heat and were granted entry this time around. The temperature is nearly half as cold as it was last year when Wesley Korir, a University of Louisville graduate and Sharon Cherop won.

The two defending champs will be running on Monday, as will a number of notable names, including Olympic 10,000-meter bronze medalist Shalane Flanagan and Kara Gouche, Joey McIntyre of New Kids on the Block, Olympian Summer Sanders as well as former winners Greg Meyer and Joan Benoit Samuelson, all of whom could be the first American to win since 1985.

Jackie Robinson Day is going on in the MLB, meaning the Red Sox will all be wearing number 42, as will the Rays. The schedule has the first wave of runners for the 26.2 mile race going for elite women at 9:32 a.m.; elite men and the first of three waves of runners follow at 10 a.m., with the last wave of runners off at 10:40 and will be on live on WBZ.com.
