Kobe Bryant Injury Video: Possible Achilles Tear, Watch as Lakers Guard Tears and Explains What Happened

" I can't. I can't walk," said Kobe Bryant Friday night while being interviewed and asked if he could possibly play through this injury. Bryant might have a torn Achilles on his left foot. He injured it late in the fourth quarter while attempting to drive past Harrison Barnes, when suddenly, Bryant said he felt something pop and he immediately dropped to the floor.

You can't tell whether Bryant is teary because of the pain caused by the injury or if he was fearing the worst for his team now that he will possibly not be able to play. The worst that could happen is an torn Achilles and this is exactly what Bryant doesn't want. It will definitely keep him out of the next upcoming games of the regular season, two games the Los Angeles Lakers have to win if they are to get into the playoffs as they are fending off the Utah Jazz.

This isn't much Bryant can do or say. He has been playing this hard to get his team in a position to enter the postseason, where he has said anything can happen. At age 34, Bryant has said that next year is his final year in the NBA. The interesting question now is, will he come back to play an extra season?

The Lakers certainly need to improve their team if they are set to make a playoff run and truthfully challenge the top teams in the league. The San Antonio Spurs and Oklahoma City Thunder are dominating in the Western Conference, the Miami Heat have the best player in the world and the New York Knicks possibly have the toughest bench in the NBA.

The Lakers are old, recovering from injury and now, they will be left without their No. 1 general as Bryant won't be there to win the last two games for them.
