Chris Bosh Home Burglarized, Thieves Make Away With At Least $34K Worth Of Valuables (Twitter Reactions/Photos)

Miami Heat star forward Chris Bosh was the victim of a house robbery while he was out celebrating his birthday.

According to CBS Chicago, thieves made off with an estimated $340,000 in watches, handbags and rings.

Miami Beach police say Bosh called them about 12:30 a.m. Thursday after he and his wife returned from his birthday party at South Beach's Bamboo nightclub. The couple noticed a jewelry drawer was open and numerous watches, rings and purses were missing.

Recognizable items such as Bosh's Heat championship ring were left behind.

Police came to the conclusion that there was no signs of forced entry at the Bosh home and that they've begun the process of interviewing housekeepers and checking anyone else who has access to Bosh's home recently.

Bosh was celebrating his 29th birthday, it's unfortunate it had to happen on such an important day for him and his family.

While at his party Bosh tweeted out his birthday cake, which featured a tiny pastry version of himself riding a giant cake elephant.

The cake is the work of Coral Gables bakery Devine Delicacies, and was just one of three spectacular cakes.

The elephant had actual tusks, giant fanning fondant ears, and life-like eyes.

Bosh also arrived to his party in style as he and his wife chartered a helicopter to bring them to the party location, which is an estimated 7.1 miles away.
