Tim Tebow Rumors: Arena Football Team Interested in Jets QB?

Tim Tebow finally has a team interested in his abilities and it is not a pro football team. As the NFL continues to go through its free agency period here players are signed and traded, Tebow movements have been quiet, but the Orlando Predators of the Arena Football League have spoken and they are interested in the quarterback. These are the most recent rumors in relation to the New York Jets' quarterback.

The Predators make sense for the quarterback if he's not playing for a professional team this year. Though Tebow might disagree and show he's willing to ride out the "Tebow Doubters" wave, he has a huge following in the state of Florida and he could make the Predators a ton of cash if they're able to get him on their indoor football field.

Owner Brett Bouchy said Tebow would be a great addition to his roster if nobody signs him or wants him in the NFL. Bouchy understands Tebow's passion for the game, "Tim would certainly want to first exhaust his opportunities in the NFL, but we'd love to have him."

Employment for Tebow in the NFL has dried up. Essentially, nobody wants him. The Jets had him and apparently, in 2012, they thought more of him as a cheerleader/bench warmer. Tebow would spend all his time on the sidelines waiting to get a chance to play. When the chance arrived, the Jets plays were so poorly drawn that Tebow would go nowhere.

When everybody in football thought Tebow would get a chance to start, Rex Ryan went with third-string back, Greg McElroy. It was embarrassing and the Jets made Tebow look horrible, which is probably why no team wants to sign the ex-Florida Gator and Heisman Trophy winner.

Currently, Tebow appears to be the fourth string quarterback in as the Jets have McElroy, Mark Sanchez and David Garrard. Unless the Jets think their quarterbacks will be getting injured, having four quarterbacks in a roster makes no sense.

A position change looks like the only thing that could save Tebow now, but even then, analysts criticize the athleticism of Tebow.

Well, the news is out there Tebow. If the NFL can't appreciate your skill sets, the Orlando Predators and Mr. Bouchy will accept you with open arms.

Kurt Warner was a successful NFL quarterback who played arena football and then got back on the NFL fields. Could this be the route Tebow has to take to increase his value?
