Cuba defated China 12-0 in seven innings to win their second game of the World Baseball Classic as they advanced to the second round of the tournament. With lights out pitching from Danny Betancourt and an aresenal of runs, Cuba cruised to victory on Monday. 

Betancourt completely dominated in this game going 4.2 innings allowing just one hit, a walk and a total of eight strikeouts.

The Chinese pitchers ERA's were not very impressive especially for reliever Yu Liu, who the Cuban team feasted on. In less than two innings, Liu gave up seven earned runs on five hits and three walks. He gave up a grand slam to Jose Abreu that probably landed a few minutes ago. 

All in all, five Cuban players had at least two hits in the game. Abreu finished with five RBI on two hits and a run scored. Jose Fernandez caused a lot of damage as well collecting three singles, four runs and two RBI. 

Not only was China's pitching slacking, but their defense betrayed them as they commited two errors in this one. Their offense wasn't any better as they only managed three hits off Cuban pitching. 

With the loss, China was elimated from contention meaning Cuba, along with Japan, will play in the second round at the 2013 World Baseball Classic. 

Cuban and Japan will now await their next opponents.
