LeBron James Responds To Michael Jordan Comparison, 'I'm Not MJ, I'm LJ' (Poll)

Miami Heat's LeBron James is arguably the best player in the league today and with his historic play of late, the league MVP debate may have been answered.

League MVP isn't the only debate that's been sparked by James' fantastic play, but also where he stands when compared to the legendary Michael Jordan.

In a sport that's been looking for the next Jordan, it is expected that James' gets these comparisons, similar to how Los Angeles Lakers' Kobe Bryant was during his prime.

Well James took it upon himself to address those comparisons on Twitter, letting his fans and followers know that he isn't anything like the former Chicago Bulls superstar:

James is fresh off a great season where he won his third MVP award, first NBA championship and a gold medal during the 2012 London Olympic Games, another impressive stat-line that he and Jordan share.

And though he's been a superstar in the league for quite some time now, averaging 27.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.9 assists and 1.7 steals in his nine-and-a-half seasons in the NBA, he still has a long way to catch up to Jordan.

Still, it's unfair to compare James to Jordan being that both were two completely different type of players.

Jordan was more selfish than James, and was hell-bent on dominating his opponent every night. James is far more different, as evident to his willingness to being more of a facilitator than a scorer.

Also you have to factor in that James' is reaching these accomplishments at a much younger age than Jordan. Right now he's only 28 years young and has a lot of years left in his NBA career.

Even with the general consensus that James will eventually surpass Jordan, it's still a long road to go before he can be considered the greatest.
