MLB Spring Training 2013: Funniest Memes Created as Baseball Camps Kicked Off

MLB's finally here, well, Spring Training is here. Actually, only pitchers and catchers along with a few other stars have reported to camp. Derek Jeter was one position player spotted in a New York Yankees minor league facility running around for the first time since suffering his debilitating ankle injury back in October. However, we're not here to discuss players. Fans were too excited by the simple fact that players were reporting to training. Check out the best memes created on Monday in anticipation for the kickoff of baseball.

It all kicked off the day before.

This one mocks the way Spanish people might pronounce the word "one," but it doesn't mean it's not funny or creative. Even if you pronounce the name slowly, "Juan" rhymes with the word "one."

Then fans got super creative the day pitchers and catchers finally arrived to Spring Training. They even had Pope Benedict XVI join the fun in a meme.

Though it might offend some people, without a doubt, the Pope announcing his retirement because Spring Training arrived is hilarious.
We all know that's not the reason why the Pope vacated his seat, but yes, baseball is pretty much back. Some might not find Spring Training too important, but it's a great way for Fantasy Baseball players to inform themselves of any stars sleeping in the draft. Also, it informs fans on what talent they possess in the minors.

Also, it's a good way to keep up with injuries. Guys are trying to earn a spot in team's 25-man rosters, so they will play hard and unfortunately, this might cost some guys time at the start of the season if they get hurt.

The following meme isn't offensive to anybody. With Citi Field in the backdrop, MLB Memes wanted everybody to show how excited they were about Spring Training by liking the following meme.

Ice Cube couldn't be left out from the show. In case you don't know his classic, "It Was A Good Day," here it is.

MLB Memes used this exact still as their background to express their excitement about Spring Training.

In about a week, people will definitely go crazy. Teams will begin playing about a week before the month of February wraps up.

You can check back with SportsWorldReport.com as we will bring you the latest from Spring Training and all the news and gossip that takes place.
