Donna Savattere Dan Marino Love Child: Book Reveals Affair Scandal and How Legend Paid Off CBS Employee?

Dan Marino is embroiled in a love child scandal and a book published in 2010 may have revealed the news without anyone knowing about it.

According to HollywoodLife.com, a 2010 memoir titled "Honeymoon Junkie: Everything but the Girl" was written by author Shaun C. Hawkins, who was an alleged ex of Dan Marino's affair partner Donna Savattere. The book details "Darien," a former CBS employee living a very wealthy life with a small child fathered by a mysterious man.

According to the report, sources say that the mystery man and woman in the book were Savattere and the Hall of Fame quarterback of the Dolphins. The report also says that Marino paid Donna off and sent her to live in Texas after she got pregnant. In 2005, Savattere was a production assistant at CBS Sports in Manhattan working with Marino.

 "Darien lived on the Upper West Side and she worked at CBS," the author wrote after meeting "Darien" in the pages the memoir.

The book offers many more details

--"I need to share something with you. I have a 1-year-old daughter named Zoë," Darien tells the author after the two begin dating. Dan and Donna's daughter is named Chloe, The New York Post notes.

--"She explained that she had dated Zoë's dad, but [...] broken up after she became pregnant," writes Shaun. "She said it was complicated, and that she was taking a sabbatical from CBS."

-- Later in the book, "Darien confessed to me that there was a substantial monetary settlement involved in keeping the identity of Zoë's father a secret. I told her that I didn't have to be Sherlock Holmes to have already figured out there was money involved. The East Hampton rental, the charming two-bedroom Upper West Side apartment one block off [Central Park], the Range Rover, the full-time nanny."

-- He adds, of "Zoë's" father: "Visitation with the baby always occurred in an undisclosed hotel room somewhere in Manhattan. Darien would get a call from one of his handlers with a time and a location, so he could spend some quality time with his daughter. "

According to the New York Post, the two had an affair that produced a daughter in 2005 and Marino paid Savattere millions to keep it quiet. Marino is married for over two decades to his wife Claire and the have six children together.

Marino released a statement and said:

"We mutually agreed to keep our arrangement private to protect all parties involved."

The Post report says that the daughter, whose name is Chloe and is seven years old, is in contact with Marino. Not much is known about Savattere, but here is the rundown of the whole situation.

- Savattere was a production assistant at CBS Sports in 2005 in New York City

- She lived in Manhattan and also spends time in the Hamptons.

- Savattere has two children. Chloe, who she had with Marino, as well as another child with current husband, Nahill Younis.

- The Mail reports that "Savattere is also said to have made attempts to change the name of her and Marino's daughter from Chloe Alexis Savattere to Chloe Alexis Younis, according to records."

Marino is still scheduled to appear as a studio analyst for CBS's broadcast of the Super Bowl on Sunday and will be offering his opinions on the 49ers and the Ravens.
