Why should you watch the Super Bowl?

Well, this year's bowl gives way to a couple of good story lines. Beginning with two brothers coaching against each other. Super Bowl XLVII features more than 49ers vs. Ravens, It's Jim vs. John as the Harbaugh Brothers present a unique occurrence in the history of the NFL becoming the first brothers to coach against each other.

Second, this time for sure, Ray Lewis will hit an NFL field for the last time as a professional player. Each time the Ravens played in the playoffs many thought it would be the linebackers last game. They played Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos and New England Patriots and beat them all to get to the big game.

Lewis' charisma and character stretches beyond the football field as he has attempted to teach youth of America about his hardships helping them avoid making the same mistakes.

Third reason to watch, ironically, this year's Super Bowl competitors feature last year's Conference Championship losers. The Patriots beat the Ravens and the New York Giants defeated the 49ers.

Last thing you can keep your eye on is this guy Colin Kaepernick. The 49ers went through drama as their coach Jim Harbough picked the second year player out of Nevada over their already established quarterback, Alex Smith, to start at the midway point of the season.

Many wondered if the move would bite Jim and the 49ers, but instead, the Niners and Kaepernick chomped awayed at the competition. Jim looked like a genius as the 49ers made it to the Super Bowl.

Kaepernick is a trend because of his tattoos. When was the last time we saw a guy tatted behind center? Kaepernick's personality has shined so brightly that even his tattoo artist is getting love and exposure.

We're not saying this is going to be the best Super Bowl ever, but these are a couple of things to keep in mind as you are watching the game.
