Quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been riding high ever since being named the starter for the San Francisco 49ers, but as the Los Angeles Times reports,, everything has been going according to plan.

When a young Kaepernick was in fourth grade, he stated in a school letter that he would one day like to be the quarterback for the 49ers. And wouldn't you know it, a little boys dream came true.

The letter was broadcasted to millions watching NBC as the San Francisco quarterback led his team to a 41-34 win over the New England Patriots in a Sunday Night Football matchup during the regular season.

"I hope I go to a good college in football[.] Then go to the pros and play on the Niners or the Packers even if they aren't good in seven years," the clairvoyant Kaepernick wrote.

Coach Jim Hargaugh's controversial decision to replace starter Alex Smith with Kaepernick has been a great benefit to the team and the second year quarterback individually. His record setting 56 yeard touchdown run and 181 rushing yards in the 49ers' 45-31' victory over the Green Bay Packers on Saturday accounted for the most yards put up by any quarterback during regular and postseason games.
