The Texas A&M Aggies defeated the Oklahoma Sooners in a game that was lopsided from the start as they won the 2013 Cotton Bowl game 41-13 There was one guy who stole the spotlight even though it took a team effort and his name is Johnny Manziel.

Manziel proved why he's the Heisman Trophy winner in the first drive of the game. He took it to the house for 23 yards on 3rd & 9 after magically tip-toeing down the sideline and remaining in play as the Sooner defense had given up on the play.

This was the beginning of the end for the Sooners and a record breaking performance as Manziel rushed for 229 yards to break the All-Time FBS Bowl record for rushing yards in a single game.

At the end of the night Manziel finished with 287 passing yards, two touchdowns and an interception, not counting his two rushing touchdowns.

Manziel received a lot of protection and also ran for tons of yards to get their first down of the game. He took it to the house and then was so pumped he skipped on the bench and began cheering on the crowd.

Manziel struck again with a five-yard touchdown run for his second one of the day.

The Texas A&M, though highlighted by Manziel's great play, came up with huge stops in their red zone dying Oklahoma a touchdown in consecutive possessions. Eventually, they settled for two field goals.

When Manziel threw for an interception in the end zone, Dustin Harris returned the favor picking off Landry Jones allowing Manziel to lead a drive for their second score of the game.

Manziel wasn't the only Aggie scoring in this one, on an option play in their first drive of the second half Ben Malena took it to the house for a seven-yard touchdown.

The unselfishness continued as Manziel then gave the ball to Trey Williams who broke a tackle and then proceeded to score untouched from 30 yards out for the second consecutive Aggies' score.

To add the cherry on the dessert, well in his stat line, Manziel hit senior receiver Ryan Swope for a 33-yard touchdown.

Manziel adds another trophy to his collection of accolades and one can only wonder, will the Aggies compete for the BCS Championship next year with Manziel only getting better?

Tune in next season.
