With the new year just days away, here for your viewing pleasure are some of the funniest commercials of 2012 that feature a few of your favorite athletes in sports.

"Uncle Drew"- Pepsi MAX

Uncle Drew has become somewhat of an alter-ego of Cleveland Cavaliers star point guard Kyrie Irving. Irving gives fans a taste of his personality in this funny Pepsi ad of an "old school" ball player teaching the "young bloods" a lesson about the game of basketball. Get buckets.

"Tom Brady's Wicked Accent" - Under Armour

This ad by Under Armor features New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady and his adopted Boston accent. The funny banter between Brady and the store clerk ends with Brady storming out of the store after being mistaken for popular Massachusetts celebrities like Matt Damon and Ben Affleck.

"Tear Away" - Foot Locker

Now this commercial is pretty funny, featuring Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook and his former teammate James Harden, now of the Houston Rockets. Foot Locker wants their customers to understand that it's necessary to always have the freshiest gear. As you can see from Harden, it's not a bad idea to have spare outfits at the ready, you never know what can happen.

In this funny ad the Brewers seem to be in search of new pitcher and by the looks of it, Green Bay Packers quarterback Rodgers will be busy all year round. Wonder how he's going to balance the playoffs in October and football?

"Hollywood Film" - Old Spice

Old Spice has built a reputation of producing funny television ads, and with the help of Green Bay Packers wide receiver Gregg Jennings, the reputation lives on. This was really funny when it first aired, and still is now.

This ad features platinum selling pop artists One Direction and New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. After both showing one-another how popular they really are, Brees ends it off acting out his dream of being a pop superstar icon. Needs a better singing coach, but there's definitely potential there after retirement for Brees.

"Hyperizers" - Foot Locker

This funny ad features several NBA stars promoting the latest Nike shoe. Mo Williams, Kevin Durant and Rashard Lewis become three members of a hip-hop group known as the 'Hyperizers'. Take a look and enjoy the sweet lyrics of this funky hip-hop groove.

"Born to Assist" - State Farm

What if you were born a twin and were separated since birth? Will you still have that twin connection? Well State Farm answered those questions with the help of their very own Cliff Paul and his identical twin brother Chris Paul of the Los Angeles Clippers. Though separated since birth, both brothers need to assists has kept their twin bond strong.

"Dunk Game" - Kia Optima

Los Angeles Clippers All-Star forward Blake Griffin may have been apart of the funniest commercials all year after teaming up with Kia motors. In this latest commercial Griffin once again revisit his childhood self to give himself some guidance for the future. At least now we know why the guy became such a beast at dunking a basketball.
