Chicago Bulls small forward Luol Deng has sprained his right ankle in the first quarter of Tuesday's Christmas Day 120-87 loss to the Houston Rockets and is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Indiana Pacers.

"We'll see," Deng said. "I twisted my ankle in the first quarter. We'll see how it feels."

Deng stayed in the game after the injury occurred and played 36 minutes, but he was limping badly as he walked out the Untied Center once the contest concluded.

He has not missed a game this season but has battled several nagging injuries all year while ranking among the league leaders in minutes played at almost 41 per game. He is still dealing with a torn ligament in his wrist that he chose not to have surgery for during the summer. He has a strained muscle in his left shoulder and now the ankle injury, which could cost him some time.

Deng is averaging 18 points and eight rebounds a game this season.

The Bulls shot 45 percent from the field while the Rockets shot a blistering 56 percent. The excellent defense that Chicago has been playing of late was nowhere to be found on Tuesday night as the team found themselves trailing by as many as 35 points in the third quarter. Houston also dominated the points in the paint to the tune of 66-32, rebounds 45-31 and fastbreak points, 31-8.
