Liverpool's Luis Suarez (R) celebrates scoring his hat-trick with Steven Gerrard during their English Premier League game against Norwich City at Carrow Road, September 29."

The 4-0 win over Fulham in the English Premier League game Saturday showed exactly what Liverpool are capable of as an attacking force and the Reds will need every ounce of their creativity against Stoke City, who have one of the best defences in the Premier League.

Liverpool's good recent run has seen them climb up the table to eighth, just five points off fourth-placed Arsenal, while Stoke, who played out a goalless 0-0 draw against Tottenham on Saturday, are equal on points with their opponents, but one place below on goal difference.

Luis Suarez will be one of the players who will try to unlock Stoke, who have conceded just 13 goals all season, and the Liverpool forward expressed his admiration for teammate Steven Gerrard.

"It's hard to find words to describe what a great player Steven has been -- and continues to be -- for the club," Suarez told the club's official website. "It was only four years ago or so that I was playing on the Playstation and I was always Liverpool and to have him in my team was great.

"Now I'm playing alongside him -- he was a hero.

"I'm very, very happy here at the club, I couldn't be happier. Liverpool is a club I've always dreamt of playing at. It's like a dream for me."

Suarez believes Liverpool have a great future ahead of them. "At Liverpool, the blend of youth and experience that we have got is great," Suarez added. "We have got some fantastic youngsters, who have got really promising futures. They bring a lot to the side now and they are going to provide even more in the future.

"With the manager, we have a mutual confidence in each other. I'm really enjoying the style of play that he is trying to implement. I am taking on board how he wants us to play -- it really suits my game."

Stoke manager Tony Pulis wants his side to go out and put in a strong performance against Liverpool. "Liverpool are one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the country and we know that we are going to show the same commitment and spirit we have done in recent matches if we are to get a result out of it," he said.

"We've played a lot better against the bigger clubs this season, but what we've got to do is make sure we do that for longer periods."

Michael Owen , who has been out of action for two months, could feature against his former club, while another former Liverpool player Charlie Adam could also be available after missing the previous game following the death of his father.

Liverpool have no injury worries, and manager Brendan Rodgers might bring Raheem Sterling back into the starting lineup.
