With Radamel Falcao scoring goals for fun in his last game, Getafe will be extremely wary of the threat posed by the prolific striker when they travel to Atletico Madrid in the first leg of the pre-quarterfinals of the Copa Del Rey.

Falcao hammered a massive five goals in the La Liga game against Deportivo on Sunday, helping his side to a comfortable 6-0 win.

With Barcelona waiting in the wings next weekend, Atletico manager Diego Simeone will stress on the importance of keeping their concentration levels on the match at hand against Getafe.

"In these types of games, I always look for my teams to score lots of goals and try to secure the tie," Simeone said.

"The most important thing is to win now, and after that there will be another leg. Our idea is to have a good game against a tough opponent, who will make things very difficult.

"Recently Getafe have grown a lot, especially defensively. They pass very well and have a lot of speed in attack with the likes of Lafita. I don't think there are favourites in the cup, but we give every tournament we play in the utmost respect."

The likes of Falcao, Diego Godin and Arda Turan are in line for a start for the first time in the cup, with Simeone reserving special praise for his prime striker.

"What Falcao did is historic," he said. "Great for the fans, the club, and for him. Whenever a player scores five goals it is difficult to repeat. We are happy for him and hope he can remain competitive in every game."
