Seahawks News and Rumors: Will Marshawn Lynch Be Ready To Play Against Panthers?

Jan 15, 2016 01:53 PM EST

It appears Marshawn Lynch is finally ready to return to action against the Carolina Panthers and it appears not a moment too soon as the Seahawks struggled to get anything going on offense last week in the Wildcard round of the NFL playoffs.

Lynch has been suffering from an abdominal injury that has limited his explosiveness however it appears that his body is finally ready for NFL action. Marshawn Lynch announced his return with only two words for the Carolina Panthers, "I'm ready". Lynch's return marks a significant moment for this Seahawks team as they have been without him for most of the second half of the season.

Lynch did appear a step slower earlier on in the season as he needed to get adjusted to this reformed offensive line after the trade for Jimmy Graham sent one of the Seahawks best run blockers Max Unger. Unger leaving Seattle had a negative effect for just about everyone involved on the offensive side of the ball as Russell Wilson was sacked more times than ever before and Lynch appeared to be ineffective early on.

Lynch would soon find his groove however injuries have kept him out until the divisional round. With Lynch ready to return the question becomes are the Carolina Panthers ready for the return of Beast Mode?
