Top 5 Best Wide Receivers Hitting Free Agency 2016: James Jones, Kamar Aiken, Marvin Jones, Alshon Jeffery, Rishard Matthews

James Jones: James Jones had a resurgent season as his skills were thought to be dwindling while he was in Oakland. Now that he has proven to be at the very least a number 2 wide receiver he should command some interest in the open market. It is likely that Jones gets an extension from the Packers to end his career in the green and gold. Jones finished 2015 only missing a game and recording 50 receptions for 890 yards, and 8 touchdowns.

Rishard Matthews: Matthews started the year off very strong however injuries and being the number 2 wide receiver in a ridiculously inefficient offense led to his eventual irrelevance on the field. Matthews could be a solid contributor to anytime with an accurate quarterback and a stable offensive line. Matthews could be one of the biggest sleepers of 2016 depending on where he goes. Matthews finished the year with 43 receptions, 662 yards, and 4 touchdowns. Matthews is only 26 and this is only his 4th season in the NFL so he has a lot of football left to play.

Kamar Aiken: Aiken was the main wide receiver for most of 2015. Without Steve Smith Aiken was given the lion's share of the targets. Aiken should be in the Ravens future plans however he could see some legitimate interest in free agency as he racked up 75 receptions, 994 yards, and 5 touchdowns. Aiken is also only 26 and this is his 3rd season in the league so he should be a nice addition for a team looking for a productive number 2-3 wide receiver.

Alshon Jeffery: Jeffery only played in 8 games this season but he dominated the stat sheet. He recorded 54 receptions, 807 yards, and 4 touchdowns. It is a no brainer that Jeffery will be the biggest free agent wide receiver this season and after selecting Kevin White the Bears could choose to let Jeffery walk. If that were the case Jeffery would be a risky but worthwhile investment for any team looking to contend for a Super Bowl.

Marvin Jones: Marvin Jones is somewhat of a wild card when it comes to free agency. It will likely be either him or Sanu that leave but both could walk if the Bengals intend to draft a new wide receiver. Jones has been slated to be one of the most dominant receivers and a breakout fantasy star every year; however he has never really fit in with the Bengals offense. The Bengals have given him enough opportunities to dominate the stat sheet and that will be key for him heading into free agency. Jones will likely command a decent price as a top tier number 2 wide receiver come free agency. Jones recorded 65 receptions, 816 yards, and 4 touchdowns. He is 25 and at 6'2 should have a long career ahead of him.
