With the regular season finally at an end the NFC playoff seeds have been established.

The Carolina Panthers will head into the playoffs boasting an impressive 15-1 record. The Panthers have been on a tear this season and will head into the playoffs with a dominant victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as they handed the Bucs a crushing loss, beating them 38-10. The Arizona Cardinals will remain the 2nd seed after an embarrassing home loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Seahawks are the 6th seed in the playoffs and if this game provided a preview of things to come the Seahawks look extremely dominant compared to the Cardinals as they defeated them 36-6. A win like that will surely have analysts scrambling to make the Seahawks one of the top contenders for the NFC championship. The Minnesota Vikings will head into the playoffs as the number 3 seed after besting the Green Bay Packers and taking the NFC North.

The Packers may have suffered a brutal loss to the Vikings at home but they will get a chance at redemption as they enter the playoffs as the number 5 seed. Finally the Washington Redskins snuck into the playoffs with the worst record out of any of the playoff contenders. The Redskins won a messy NFC East division strife with injury and poor coaching. The Redskins have been on fire for the past month and could play the spoiler as the wildcard round begins.
