New Orleans Saints

Tim Hightower/Mark Ingram (Running Back): With Ingram out for the remainder of the season Tim Hightower took over the starting duties. Hightower had a ridiculous amount of carries to not get over 100 yards. Hightower had 28 carries for 85 yards and a touchdown while reeling in his only target for 10 yards. Hightower will likely become the bell cow now that Ingram is out.

Drew Brees (Quarterback): Brees had a great day from the field not recording any interceptions in this week 14 contest. Brees completed 31 out of 41 passing attempts for 312 yards and 2 touchdowns. Brees had a relatively easy time beating the Buccaneers as the Saints looked better than they have all month.

Brandin Cooks (Wide Receiver): Cooks was largely left out of this affair. Cooks only caught 3 of his 5 targets for 29 yards. That is the smallest amount of targets he has had since week 6. Cooks will go back to being a boom or bust WR2.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Mike Evans (Wide Receiver): Evans struggled mightily against a defense that has not stopped a single receiving threat this season. Evans was invisible as he struggled to get open in the first half. Evans finished the game catching 3 out of 4 targets for 39 yards.

Doug Martin (Running Back):  Martin had a stellar game until the Buccaneers had to abandon the running attack in the second half. Martin only had 11 rushing attempts but gained 81 yards and found his way into the end zone for a touchdown. Martin also caught 1 out of his 3 targets for 5 yards. Currently Martin only trails Adrian Peterson by 37 yards to lead the league in rushing.
