NFL Week 13 Fantasy Preview: Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams, Carson Palmer, Todd Gurley, Michael Floyd, John Brown, Larry FItzgerald

Arizona Cardinals

Michael Floyd/ John Brown/ Larry Fitzgerald (Wide Receiver): Floyd is probable for this contest after being limited in practice all week long. Floyd is dealing with a hamstring issue but is starting next to Fitzgerald. Brown is all systems go as well as he currently will be the WR3 in this offense. The Rams give up the 3rd fewest fantasy points to wide receivers however if their dominant pass rushers are not in I cannot see a way that they stop this high powered passing attack.

David Johnson (Running Back): Johnson will be the main back as Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington are both out with injury. Johnson should see around 20 to 25 rushing attempts which gives him more than enough opportunities to have an excellent day. The Rams have given up the 14th most fantasy points to running backs so Johnson could be a sneaky play with some of the Rams defensive playmakers missing in action.

Carson Palmer (Quarterback): Palmer is going up against a defense that has allowed the 4th fewest fantasy points to quarterbacks this season. They only allow 230.0 passing yards and currently allow the 12th fewest passing touchdowns. This defense may be without Robert Quinn so Palmer may have some time to find some openings. The Cardinals are motivated to win this game and that alone should be enough for Palmer to have close to 300 passing yards and a couple of scores.

St. Louis Rams

Todd Gurley (Running Back): Gurley is going up against a defense that gives up the 11th fewest fantasy points to running backs. Gurley is facing increased pressure as teams are stacking the box against him knowing that the Rams do not have a passing attack. The Cardinals should do this as well but Gurley will find his holes.

Tavon Austin (Wide Receiver): The Cardinals have allowed the 11th fewest fantasy points to wide receivers and Austin will have a date with shut down cornerback Patrick Peterson. Austin should only gain fantasy points on the ground in this one.
