The Pittsburgh Steelers will have Ben Roethlisberger starting in Week 12 after dealing with a foot injury as the team takes on the Seattle Seahawks after a bye. DeAngelo Williams is healthy after playing in Week 10, while backup quarterback Michael Vick will serve as a mimic for Russell Wilson in practice this week.

The Steelers remain in the AFC North division hunt and they are currently in fifth position in the conference as the first wild card team in the playoff standings. The game against the Seahawks is a big one for both teams and it will be a tough test for the Steelers, as they have to play on the road at CenturyLink Field. Roethlisberger is expected to start for the Steelers and it comes after he was forced to play in Week 10 after Landry Jones had to leave with an injury.

The plan for the Steelers before the bye week was to have Jones start against the Browns and have Roethlisberger stay on the sidelines as an emergency backup. Things started off well enough for Pittsburgh, but after Jones suffered an ankle injury, Roethlisberger was thrust into action and he delivered, passing for 379 yards with three touchdowns as the Steelers won over the Browns. Roethlisberger now has had time to heal up over the bye week and while he may not be 100 percent healthy, he is ready to start against the Seahawks.

DeAngelo Williams comes into Week 12 healthy after dealing with an injury heading into the game against the Browns. Williams was able to play despite dealing with a foot issue and he is on track to start against Seattle this week. Williams finished with 54 yards on 17 carries against the Browns in Week 10 and now he could be a big part of the offense for the Steelers as he continues to start for the injured Le'Veon Bell.

Williams had 170 rushing yards in Week 9 and he has been very impressive for the Steelers all season, rushing for 534 yards and averaging five yards per carry. The Steelers thought that Williams would be more of a backup this season once Bell returned from his two game suspension, but Bell's season ending injury put Williams into the starting role and he has delivered when needed. The Seahawks have been looking better after early season struggles and Williams will need to play well for the Steelers to get a win on the road.

Speaking of players who were signed to be backups, Michael Vick has embraced his role as the third quarterback on the roster for the Steelers after previously starting in place of the injured Roethlisberger earlier in the season. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Vick said that "I just have to do whatever I'm asked to do," and this week that means mimicking Russell Wilson for the scout team for the Steelers. The Post-Gazette reports that Vick likely will be inactive for the Steelers behind Jones on Sunday.
