Washington Redskins

Jordan Reed (Tight End): Reed has become a staple of this Redskins passing attack however for now it seems as if Washington will have to be without Reed for a few games. Reed sprained his MCL after hauling in 6 of his 8 targets for 46 yards. Reed will likely be on the shelf for a few weeks.

Alfred Morris/Matt Jones/Chris Thompson (Running Backs): The running back situation in Washington is a nightmare after this group easily had their best game of the season in week 10. Week 11 brought injury and frustration. Alfred Morris suffered a rib cage injury that forced him out of the game after rushing twice for no gain. Matt Jones did not do any better as he only had 5 attempts for 0 yards and lost a fumble. Jones however did catch both of his targets for 12 yards. This led to Chris Thompson having the most productive day rushing 4 times for 10 yards and caught 3 of his 4 targets for 7 yards. Thompson could start next week thanks to Morris's injury and Jones's ball security issues.

Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton (Quarterback): Newton had an excellent game throwing for 5 touchdowns and completing 21 of 34 passing attempts. Newton gained 246 yards through the air and tagged on 16 rushing yards. Newton is absolutely on fire and should continue to put up high tier QB 1 numbers.

Jonathan Stewart (Running Back): Stewart had an excellent day as well racking up 21 rushing attempts. Thanks to Newton barley running the ball at all Stewart had one of his more impressive performances this season gaining 102 yards and catching his lone target for 12 yards and a touchdown.

Greg Olsen (Tight End): Olsen was Newton's primary security blanket in the passing game and even though Olsen completed only 3 receptions he made them count. Olsen went 3 of 6 from the field hauling in 54 yards and a touchdown.
