Dallas Cowboys Rumors: Tony Romo To Start Against Dolphins, Darren McFadden Injury, Robert Turbin, Rod Smith Fantasy Options Week 11

The Dallas Cowboys have Tony Romo set to start against the Miami Dolphins in Week 11, as the quarterback has been activated from IR after injuring his collarbone. The Cowboys have Darren McFadden on the injury report and if he is limited, Robert Turbin and Rod Smith could be potential fantasy options for team owners.

Romo has been out since September after suffering a broken left collarbone and now he is set to return for the Cowboys. The team has lost seven straight games since opening up 2-0 and the team is hoping that Romo can help turn things around. According to ESPN.com, Romo has been added back to the 53-man roster and that puts him on track to start for Dallas against the Dolphins on Sunday.

Romo has been able to work in practice over the past three weeks and he was able to practice in full on Thursday after working with the scout team previously, according to ESPN. Todd Archer at ESPN Dallas reports that Romo will have "extra protection" as part of his uniform under his shoulder pads on Sunday to protect the collarbone. The Cowboys have lost seven straight games, but the team remains alive for the playoffs if they can put together a winning streak with NFC East division being one of the weakest in football.

Darren McFadden was added to the injury report this week with a groin injury, according to Pro Football Talk. Head coach Jason Garrett said that McFadden suffered the injury in practice on Wednesday and that put McFadden as a limited participant for Thursday and Friday. McFadden said to the Dallas Morning News that he is "good to go" for the game, although he is listed as questionable. If McFadden is limited, the Cowboys have Rod Smith and Trey Williams behind him on the depth chart.

Robert Turbin also could be a factor, but there is a chance he may not be ready to play for Dallas after joining the team this week. According to Pro Football Talk, Turbin has looked good in practice and the team could consider bringing him up for the game on Sunday. Offensive coordinator Scott Linehan said to the team website that Turbin has made a "great impression" so far.

McFadden has not missed a game this season and he has been able to stay healthy after injury issues dogged him earlier in his career. McFadden looks like he will be ready to go Sunday unless a setback happens and the Cowboys are hoping they can finally put Romo, Dez Bryant and McFadden on the field together at the same time again. Smith comes in with two rushes for five yards in four games played this season and he could get some touches if McFadden is limited.
