Montreal Impact forward Didier Drogba could have the chance to return to Chelsea during the MLS offseason, but if Drogba does return, it likely will not be to play for Jose Mourinho. Drogba said that a return to train could be possible, but that he is "not too hot" on returning to play for struggling Chelsea.

Drogba just completed a strong season for Montreal, scoring 12 goals in 14 total games and helping the team make the playoffs. The team was eliminated by the Columbus Crew in the playoffs and that means Drogba's season is over, opening him up for a potential loan. Drogba was asked about the potential of playing for Chelsea, who could be interested in bringing the former star back since they are struggling mightily in the English Premier League this season.

"To train, why not? It's something we have to discuss with the club here," Drogba told reporters on Friday, according to MLSSoccer.com. "I belong to the Montreal Impact. To stay in shape, why not? To play, I'm really not too hot on that idea. I need to rest well and to be ready for this league."

Drogba has 164 career goals for Chelsea and he previously was with the team for eight seasons before playing elsewhere and he came back for 2014 as well. Chelsea has been struggling big time this season and they are near the bottom of the Premier League table. Mark Worrall at ESPN FC wrote that Drogba "back at Chelsea would boost troubled Jose Mourinho" and some have suggested that Chelsea should explore a move.
