New York Giants

Odell Beckham JR (Wide Receiver): Beckham has been on fire in the past two weeks and this is not that scary of a matchup. The Patriots don't allow a lot of touchdowns through the air but the yards and for PPR players receptions could bit up there in what is sure to be an offensive slugfest. Beckham is a strong WR2 with elite WR1 capability.

Eli Manning (Quarterback): Manning has been very sporadic this season. He typically finishes above 20 points however against his divisional foes (except for the Redskins) he has posted some truly awful stat lines. One could even argue that he should have played better against the Buccaneers and was largely a disappointment in that game. It should also be noted that the Patriots have not beaten the Giants since December 29th, 2007 so expect a lot of payback coming Big Blue's way. Eli should be a low tier QB1 but he may end up being more of a less productive QB2.

New England Patriots

Tom Brady (Quarterback): The Giants do not have a secondary that is a fact. Everyone got injured in preseason so teams have had a ton of success throwing against this team, I mean if the Buccaneers can throw the ball well against you, you could use some work. Brady is facing a defense that is asking him to throw for 300 yards and he has already done it five times this season. The Giants have given up the 5th most points to quarterbacks so you would have to be absolutely crazy to not start Brady.

Rob Gronkowski (Tight End):  The Giants give up the 3rd most points to tight ends and there is not a player on the Giants roster that can cover Gronk. This should be one of his best games of the season; I'd be surprised if he does not see 100 yards receiving and a touchdown.

Julian Edelman/ Brandon LaFell (Wide Receivers): These are the two main guys in this group of wide receivers. Edelman is the Patriots number 1 so he will see a ton of targets. This Giants defense has allowed 17 throwing touchdowns this season so it is possible Edelman has a monstrous game. LaFell is more of a longshot because of all the time he has missed but I could see him getting into the end zone for this game.

LeGarrette Blount (Running Backs): Despite Doug Martin's poor performance in week 9 the Giants are average at best against the run and with Dion Lewis out, Blount could be in for a ton of carries against a defense that has allowed over 100 rushing yards in the last 5 games. Blount is a solid RB2 with RB1 upside.
