NFL Fantasy Football Recap Week 9: New York Giants at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Odell Beckham JR, Eli Manning, Mike Evans, Doug Martin, Charles Sims

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Doug Martin (Running Back): This Tampa Bay offense was disappointing all around in what was supposed to be one of the more favorable matchups of the week. Martin failed to even meet expectations after fantasy owners saw him hit 100 yards in several games in the past few weeks. Martin was benched for most of the second quarter for fumbling the football even though his backup Charles Sims fumbled later on. After Sims's fumble Martin was let out of the dog house and did absolutely nothing with the opportunity. Martin finished the game with 11 carries for 31 yards, and a fumble.

Mike Evans (Wide Receiver): Evans saw a very Julio Jones-like game in week 9. He did not get into the end zone but managed to haul in a large percentage of his targets for incredible yardage. Evans caught 8 out of 19 targets for 152 yards.

New York Giants

Odell Beckham JR (Wide Receiver): ODB was also kept out of the end zone after seeing season highs in touchdowns and yards in recent weeks. Beckham hauled in 9 of 17 targets for 109 yards. Beckham did enough for PPR owners to be happy in standard leagues the lack of a touchdown probably frustrated some of his owners.

Eli Manning (Quarterback): Manning had a weird day. The younger manning brother completed 26 of 40 passing attempts for 213 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also threw 2 poor interceptions one of which was intended for Odell Beckham. Manning gets the Patriots next week and should struggle mightily against one of the last undefeated teams in the NFL.
