Royals and New York Mets World Series Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Game 4 Fox Baseball Playoffs

The Kansas City Royals and New York Mets are playing the World Series Game 4 from Citi Field on Saturday for Halloween and the game is on FOX from TV and streaming on the Fox Sports Go website. The game has Steven Matz against Chris Young and the series is now 2-1 after the Mets won Game 3 of the series with a strong start from Noah Syndergaard.

Syndergaard opened the game with a high fastball over the head of Alcides Escobar, as he has basically been taunting pitchers daring him to throw fastballs on the first pitch, which he continues to always swing at. While the Royals scored a run in the first, Syndergaard helped set the tone and he really gave the Mets and Citi Field something to go crazy for and the game went exactly as the Mets wanted.

The team got a two run home run from David Wright in the next half inning and the team did not give up, even after the Royals added two more runs in the second. The Mets then took the lead in the third after a home run from Curtis Granderson and that was it, as the team added four more runs later and won the game 9-3 and now the series is 2-1. The Mets can tie the series with a win and that would make it basically anyone's to take, as the Royals will have two games at home and the Mets just one and it would be the best two of three after that.

Chris Young is making his fifth career postseason start and he has pitched well overall this year in the playoffs, including in Game 1 when he pitched in relief and helped get the win for the Royals. Young pushed his fastball past the 90 mph mark in that game and that is not something he does often and the Mets are hoping that getting a look at him will help the team in this game.

The Royals and Mets won the World Series in successive years in the 1980s and neither team has won since and this game is crucial for both. The Royals can take a commanding lead with a win and get within one victory of a championship, while the Mets can even things up at 2-2 after being down 2-0. The Mets went down 2-0 in their last series win and so did the Royals and now the Mets will try and make a comeback. Amazingly, the Mets lost the first two games by the same margin and won the third by the same margin that they did back in 1986. I guess you gotta believe right?
