Chelsea pulled off another one of those rabbits out of the European hat, as Victor Moses scored in the final minute of stoppage time to give the defending champions a 3-2 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League, as Barcelona suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Celtic with Manchester United scoring another come-from-behind win over Braga.

United's three strikers -- Robin Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez -- ensured United's progress into the next round after Alan had given the home side the lead early in the second half.

In Glasgow, Celtic took down tournament favorites Barcelona 2-1 with Victor Wanyama and Tony Watt giving the home side a 2-0 lead, before Lionel Messi cut the deficit in the 90th minute, as Barcelona found the Celtic defense too difficult to breach.

At Stamford Bridge, Victor Moses headed home in the final moments to give the Blues all three points, after a Willian double had cancelled out goals from Fernando Torres and Oscar.

Fans were treated to a wonderful game in London, with Shakhtar Donetsk putting on an attacking show in the first half that would have left even the Chelsea fans impressed.

The Ukrainian side, who beat the Blues 2-1 at their home in Donetsk, started brilliantly, with the likes of Fernandinho and Willian immediately looking dangerous. The home side, however, took the lead rather fortuitously.

Fernando Torres charged down a clearance from Andriy Pyatov, after the goalkeeper had been unnecessarily put under pressure from a backpass, with the ball cannoning off the Spanish striker and into the back of the net in the sixth minute.

Shakhtar did not let the goal bother them too much, equalizing three minutes later through former Chelsea target Willian. Fernandinho, who was easily the player of the match, coasted past the home side's defense down the right, before perfectly picking out Willian in the middle of the box, with the playmaker making no mistake in slotting it past Petr Cech.

Shakhtar continued to look dangerous, particularly down the right with right-back Darijo Srnar playing more like a right winger than a fullback, whipping in several dangerous looking crosses. The goal that Shakhtar deserved for their good play never came, however, with Cheslea, instead scoring thanks to a bit of luck and a piece of absolute brilliance from Oscar five minutes from halftime.

Juan Mata made a nice crossfield pass towards Torres, only for goalkeeper Pyatov to clear from outside his penalty box. However, the clearance fell kindly to Oscar near the halfway line, with the Brazilian taking a first touch before cutting across the ball to perfectly place it into the back if the net from 45 yards out.

Shakhtar stung by the goal were determined to get back on level terms, but the score remained 2-1 at halftime. The away side, however, did not have to wait too long after the start of the second half to make it 2-2. Another brilliant piece of build-up play from Shakhtar saw Willian first play the ball to Fernandinho, who in turn played a nice through ball to Srna, with the captain picking out Willian, who had continued his run, perfectly to score the equalizer.

Chelsea were the much better side in the second half, but the game looked like it was going to end 2-2, which would have been really the right result; however like they always seem to do in Europe, Chelsea had one last twist to add to the tale. Victor Moses in the final kick of the game rose above the Shakhtar defense to head home a corner to give the Blues an absolutely vital three points.

In the other game of Group E, Juventus got their campaign back on track with a comfortable 4-0 victory over FC Nordsjaelland -- Claudio Marchisio, Arturo Vidal, Sebastian Giovinco and Fabio Quagliarella the goalscorers.

Chelsea and Shakhtar now have seven points from four matches, with Juventus a point behind on six.

Valencia and Bayern Munich took control of Group F with thumping victories - the Spanish side beating BATE Borisov 4-2, while Bayern thrashed Lille 6-1.

Results: Group E: Juventus 4-0 Nordsjaelland; Chelsea 3-2 Shakhtar Donetsk. Group F: Valencia 4-2 BATE; Bayern 6-1 Lille. Group G: Benfica 2-0 Spartak Moscow; Celtic 2-1 Barcelona. Group H: CFR Cluj 1-3 Galatasaray; Braga 1-3 Manchester United.
