The Montreal Canadiens are leading the NHL standings and on Tuesday night the team will attempt to start 10-0-0 with a win against the Vancouver Canucks. Two other teams have opened up with 10 wins to start the season and with a victory the Canadiens will match the Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs for the record.

All of the wins for the Canadiens this season at 9-0-0 have come in regulation and the game on Tuesday will be on the road against the Canucks.
