NFL Week 6 Game Fantasy Preview: Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, Julio Jones, Jacob Tamme, Devonta Freeman, Tevin Coleman, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Brandin Cooks, Mark Ingram

Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones (Wide Receiver): Jones will be hampered by some nagging injuries that will keep his production low however he is not on a snap count. Jones started the season absolutely gashing defenses for big plays, now he has been somewhat replaced by Devonta Freeman who has been getting all of the points in this Falcons offense. It is hard to say what is going on with Julio Jones but owners should be comforted by such an easy matchup this week.

Jacob Tamme (Tight End): Tamme will be the main benefactor from the injuries to Leonard Hankerson and Julio Jones. If Jones is on the sidelines or is just not playing with his usual explosiveness then expect Tamme to get the targets. New Orleans Saints defense has given up the third most points to the tight end in fantasy football. Tamme could be a clutch waiver wire add.

Devonta Freeman/Tevin Coleman (Running Back): Until things change it is pretty clear Devonta Freeman will be the main back for the Atlanta Falcons. With that said things could change pretty soon, Coleman was named the starter right out of preseason until he hurt his ribs. I would not be surprised to see a Bengals style running game with more balance. As Coleman's ribs heal he should find himself getting more touches. Freeman's huge games have not necessarily been as much about him making plays as it has been about the Falcons offensive line executing the zone blocking scheme to perfection. When Coleman is full healthy expect him to be the goal line back.

Matt Ryan (Quarterback): Ryan has had an up and down season and averages around 1.5 touchdowns per game. Ryan has thrown 4 interceptions on the season, 2 of them last week. How Ryan performs seemingly depends on how Julio Jones performs and since he is banged up Ryan should be a low level QB1 for week 6.

New Orleans Saints

Brandin Cooks/Willie Snead (Wide Receivers): Cooks finally went off last week getting the most targets he has had all season long. Cooks had 107 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Eagles. Cooks is the number 1 wide receiver in this offense however most of his points have come from garbage time. Cooks will try to be more consistent and get this Saints team going against the Falcons. Snead has a solid grip on the number 2 wide receiver job and should continue to get targets from Brees.

Drew Brees (Quarterback): The offensive line needs to clean up their play if the Saints want to win this game. Brees has been getting battered behind this porous line and the better that line plays the better Brees will play. Brees has only thrown 3 picks and 6 touchdowns this year so his accuracy is not an issue.

Mark Ingram/C.J. Spiller (Running Back): The Falcons have given up the second most fantasy points to running backs and this should be factored in Saints plan of attack. The Saints should look to utilize both C.J. Spiller and Mark Ingram this offensive attack. Ingram should get the bulk of the carries but Spiller will likely be the passing down back. Spiller struggled to be a part of the offense last week but the Saints should have a better game plan for him.
