Tennessee Titans Rumors: Antonio Andrews Fantasy Start Option Over Bishop Sankey For Marcus Mariota? Kendall Wright, Delanie Walker Week 6 Picks

Oct 15, 2015 02:55 PM EDT

The Tennessee Titans are coming into Week 6 after a loss and Antonio Andrews could be a solid fantasy football start option over Bishop Sankey for Marcus Mariota. Kendall Wright and Delanie Walker are is the best pass catcher picks for the team and Andrews could be a sleeper option, as he had as many carries as Sankey in the last game for Tennessee.

The Titans have the Dolphins on the schedule this week and the game is a big one for Miami after the team has started the season 1-3. Tennessee needs to be ready for a slightly desperate performance from the Dolphins and the Titans are looking to get to 2-3 after opening the season with one win and three straight losses. The team lost by one to the Bills last week and now Mariota and the offense will try and get things going against what was supposed to be a strong Miami defense.

Marcus Mariota has been off to a solid start to his rookie season and he comes into Week 6 with eight touchdowns and just three interceptions. Last week Mariota had just 187 yards and this week against the Dolphins he is looking to bounce back with a more productive game. Getting the rushing game going should only help the passing offense and even if Sankey gets the start, expect Andrews to get some carries as well.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt said earlier in the month to the Nashville Tennessean that the team is going to continue to use the running back by committee and they will take things "week to week" when it comes to splitting carries. That is always tough to deal with for fantasy owners, but for now it looks like Sankey and Andrews will continue to get work together. Last week despite Sankey getting the start, both players finished with the same amount of touches and the same amount of carries.

Delanie Walker and Kendall Wright are solid start options for the Titans this week, with Wright being the better pick of the two at his position. Wright said last week that he was "frustrated" with his role on offense and heading into Week 6 he could be motivated to have a big game. Wright has 16 catches for 242 yards and Whisenhunt said that things are fine between him and Wright and that there is "no issue" between them about Wright's role.

Andrews has 58 yards rushing in two games this season and he has found the endzone in both of those games and if he keeps that up, he could be a solid RB2 or RB3 moving forward. Sankey has the potential to be a breakout player, but he has not been over 50 rushing yards since Week 1 and the committee splitting carries has not helped that. Sankey had 569 yards last season as a rookie and this season he has 146 yards in four games. Sankey had as many carries last week as Andrews, but he was out snapped by Dexter McCluster and he is not a reliable starter for fantasy owners right now as an RB1 option.
