The NFL is heading into Week 6 on the schedule and the power rankings coming out of Week 5 has some familiar names with the New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, Atlanta Falcons and Cincinnati Bengals hanging on to the top spots. Those teams are all undefeated along with the Panthers, who had a bye this week, while teams like the Arizona Cardinals, Giants and Jets have claims to be in the top 10.

Here is a quick look at some rankings heading into Week 6:

New England Patriots 5-0

The Pats are the top team in the league this season and they won in convincing fashion on Sunday against the Cowboys. The team is undefeated and will play against the Colts next week and they remain the best team in the AFC.

Green Bay Packers 5-0

The Packers have dealt with some injuries this season, but it has not hurt the team at all and now they have the Bears on the schedule next. As long as Aaron Rodgers stays healthy, this team has a chance to be contenders.

Cincinnati Bengals 5-0

The Bengals won impressively against the Seahawks in a tough game on Sunday and the defense has been playing well. The offense has been a major surprise with Andy Dalton putting up strong numbers and the team currently has a nice lead in the division.

Atlanta Falcons 5-0

The Broncos defense has been better than the Falcons and maybe they should be in this spot, but the team has played well enough and now the Falcons have the chance to make a push against the Saints this week. The Panthers are also undefeated in the division, but based on their schedule Carolina has some tougher games coming up.

Denver Broncos 5-0

The Broncos are 5-0 and that makes them one of the best teams in the league, even if Peyton Manning is not the player he once was. The team is not making a change at QB and the defense has been playing at an elite level this season.

Arizona Cardinals 4-1

The Cardinals defense has been one of the best units in the league and Carson Palmer being healthy has been huge. The Cards will be up against the Steelers next and that could be one of the best games of the week.

Carolina Panthers 4-0

The Panthers are undefeated and maybe should be ahead of the Cardinals, but Arizona has played some better teams and they also have looked better overall. The Panthers will be there by the end and they have tough games coming up, including against Seattle.

New York Jets 3-1

This is where it almost starts being pick your preference, as the Jets are on a bye this week and have been solid through the first quarter of the season. Miami has been disappointing and the Bills are dealing with injuries and that gives the Jets a chance to make some noise in the division behind New England.

New York Giants 3-2

The Giants actually could be undefeated this season if things went as they should, as the team had wins in the bag before giving them up in the first two weeks. The team has won three in a row and now lead the NFC East with games against the Eagles and Cowboys coming up.

Seattle Seahawks 2-3 and Pittsburgh Steelers 3-2

Seattle has played below expectations this season so far and lost to an undefeated Bengals team, but they have the potential to turn it around. The Steelers won at the last second over the Chargers this week on Monday night and are playing with Michael Vick as their QB.
