New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers Live Stream: Watch Online Game 2 National League Playoffs Streaming

Oct 10, 2015 08:51 PM EDT

The New York Mets and Los Angeles Dodgers are playing Game 2 of the National League Division Series on Saturday and the game is on TV from TBS and streaming live online and on the radio, with coverage on ESPN. Zack Greinke and Noah Syndergaard will face off at Dodger Stadium and the game starts up past 9 pm ET with the Mets leading the Dodgers 1-0 in the series.

The Mets took the lead with a strong game from Jacob deGrom and the team was able to get things going against Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw. Kershaw had 300 strikeouts during the regular season and while he pitched well overall, it wasn't enough to beat the Mets. Syndergaard will get the start for the Mets before Matt Harvey pitches Game 3 and there is a chance that the Mets come home with a 2-0 lead.

Syndergaard comes into the game with a 9-7 record with a 3.24 ERA this season with 166 strikeouts and his last start was strong with 10 strikeouts and two hits allowed against the Nationals. Greinke is the favorite for the Cy Young this year despite Kershaw and Jake Arrieta having strong seasons, as he went 19-3 this season with a 1.66 ERA with 200 strikeouts and his ERA did not dip over 2.00 at all this season. Greinke won the most games in his career and he also was tops in the NL in winning percentage.

The Mets got a home run from Daniel Murphy in Game 1 and the team won the game 3-1 to take the 1-0 series lead heading into Game 2. DeGrom had a great game with 13 strikeouts in his first ever playoff start and the team got a postseason win for the first time since 2006. After the game some second guessed decisions made by Don Mattingly and heading into Game 2 the focus will be on those moments again depending on how the two starters pitch.

The Mets have not yet decided on a Game 4 starter and what happens on Saturday night could determine how the team makes that decision. DeGrom looked so good that he could come back and pitch on short rest, while the Mets also have Steven Matz and could use him to make the start, although he came into the series dealing with some back issues and the Mets may take it easy with him. Syndergaard has already faced the Dodgers this season and he allowed one run with two hits against the team, giving up a home run to Adrian Gonzalez in the game.
