Houston Astros vs Kansas City Royals Live Stream: Watch Online MLB Playoffs Streaming ALDS Game

Oct 08, 2015 07:21 PM EDT

The MLB playoffs continue with the ALDS and the Houston Astros are visiting the Kansas City Royals for the game and TV coverage is from Fox Sports 1 and will have a live stream on the Fox Sports Go website for the game. The game is from Kauffman Stadium, where Game 1 and Game 2 will be played for the American League Division Series.

The Astros come into the game after winning over the Yankees in the wild card game, while the Royals have been waiting to see who they play after being the top team in the AL. The Royals were the best team all season and while they slumped a bit at the end, the team is considered to be one of the favorites in the AL. The other series has the Rangers and the Blue Jays playing, while Houston now comes to Kansas City for this matchup.

Dallas Keuchel pitched a gem to get the Astros into this game and he shut out the Yankees and was fantastic after winning 20 games this season. Keuchel will pitch again and it will be a home game and that is huge, as he was 15-0 this season at home. Collin McHugh and Yordano Ventura are in this game as starters for the teams. And Johnny Cueto will get his chance for the Royals after that. McHugh comes in as a 19 game winner and he is no slouch after the season he had.

The Royals have a great lineup, but the Astros can mash too and they showed that with Colby Rasmus and Carlos Gomez hitting bombs against the Yankees. Neither wild card loser could score, as the Yankees and the Pirates were both shut out in the wild card games for the teams. Keuchel is slated to pitch in Game 3 for the Astros after going on three days' rest for the wild card game and he could be the key for the Astros if they want to win this series.

The Royals lineup is filled with experience after the team made a World Series run last season, but KC will not overlook the Astros for that exact reason. Last year the Royals were the wild card darlings of the playoffs and they made a run and now the Astros feel that they can do the same. AJ Hinch has his team loose and ready and they will take on a lineup that includes Alex Gordon, Lorenzo Cain, Ben Zobrist and Eric Hosmer. The season series between the teams saw the Astros win four of the six games and Game 2 will be on Friday after Game 1 on Thursday night.
