Arizona Cardinals

Carson Palmer (Quarterback): The Lions are in the middle of the pack when it comes to fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Palmer has played lights out all season long and this week should be no exception. The Lions struggle to cover wide receivers the only thing that is concerning is the amount of pressure that the Lions bring. But even that concern is alleviated some with the injury to Tyrunn Walker who suffered a broken Fibula. Palmer should have another great day at the office.

John Brown/Larry Fitzgerald (Wide Receivers):  Fitzgerald has stolen the starting position back from John Brown is convincing fashion. This might be one of the last productive years Fitzgerald can play so having a memorable season is a great way to go out. Brown on the other hand is struggling for targets however still put up a decent amount of fantasy points every week. These two should have a field day with the Lions secondary.

Andre Ellington/Chris Johnson/David Johnson (Running Backs): Ellington should find his way back on to the field which should limit a lot of Chris Johnson and David Johnson's chances on the field. Ellington will probably have a snap count but you can assume he will eat into Chris Johnson's workload. All of these running backs can be lined up in the flex as David Johnson sees most of his work through the air.

Detroit Lions

Calvin Johnson/Golden Tate (Wide Receiver): Johnson has struggled and has only turned in one head turner of a game in week 2. Now the Lions will attempt to get their struggling offense going while they try to win their first game of the year against one of the league's best defense. Tate has done next to nothing this season and all of this is barely a flex starter at this point. Johnson should see a lot of coverage from Patrick Peterson so Tate could be in for a bigger role.

Ameer Abdullah (Running Back): Abdullah has just had bad matchups in these past few weeks. Going back to back games facing an incredibly fast and powerful Seahawks defense then following it up with the Cardinals top ranked defense is just unfair. Abdullah will have to make some tremendous plays to even be relevant as a fantasy option this week.
