Indianapolis Colts

Andrew Luck (Quarterback): Luck is rumored to be getting the start as his shoulder still heals. All Luck owners have no idea what to make of the 2nd highest scoring fantasy quarterback of 2014. The Colts offensive line holds a big part of the blame but it also looks like Luck's mechanics are just off. Luck will be a low end QB 2 while his status is still up in the air, but he will be a low end QB 1 against the Texans.

TY Hilton/Donte Moncrief/Andre Johnson/Phillip Dorsett (Wide Receivers): These wide receivers are heavily dependent on the consistent targets they got from Luck however this year this offense has never been on the same page. Moncrief and Hilton will likely make the biggest contributions of the day but Johnson does have a lot to prove. Dorsett has also been attempting to muscle in on some of Moncrief's targets so it will be interesting to see how the Colts spread the ball around.

Frank Gore (Running Back): Gore will be leaned on heavily against this Texans defensive line and that makes me nervous. Gore has had one great game, and that was against a toothless Tennessee defense. Temper your expectations as one of the best preseason running back situations might actually be a giant bust.

Coby Fleener/Dwayne Allen (Tight End): With Allen returning this means Fleener's targets will be split in half, unless Allen is on a snap count. In that case Fleener should still have most of the targets on the day. Once Allen is healthy the Colts tight end situation goes back to being confusing and frustrating for fantasy owners.

Houston Texans

Arian Foster (Running Back): Seeing that Foster has been limited during Monday and Tuesday's practices is a bit concerning however the Texans are likely trying to protect Foster from injuring himself again. This limiting practice could be brought into a game at any time, this is a long season and Foster will need to be around for a large portion of it if the Texans want to win some games. Foster should play but he is a flex play at best this week, he has an excellent matchup though.

DeAndre Hopkins/Cecil Shorts (Wide Receiver): Hopkins is the king of targets for the Texans and most likely this is because they have spent the majority of their time playing football during garbage time splitting reps with two quarterbacks. Hopkins should settle down as the Texans look for an offensive identity and with one of the best running backs in the league Hopkins targets should stabilize. Shorts could be out this week depending on how his shoulder is feeling by game time.
