Oakland Raiders
Latavius Murray/Roy Helu (Running Back): Murray had several bad plays in this game but everyone has a bad game from time to time. Murray should have had an easy touchdown pass however the ball bounced off of his hands into the waiting arms of a Bears defender, Murray also fumbled on a pitch play which led to him being vulture by Roy Helu near the goal line. At the end of the day Murray finished with 16 carries for 49 yards and caught 3 out of 5 targets for 12 yards. Helu stole the only running back TD of the day and he finished with 5 carries for 22 yards and went 2/2 from the field for 13 yards.
Amari Cooper/Michael Crabtree (Wide Receivers): Cooper had an average day until he got into the end zone for a score. Cooper and the Raiders were expected to blow the doors of a defense that just shipped away 3 of its key players however this was not the case. The Bears were able to get pressure into the backfield rattling both Latavius Murray and Derek Carr. Cooper finished the day catching 4 out of 9 targets and a touchdown. Crabtree had a productive day and avoided what looked like what could have been a gruesome injury and ended up catching 5 of 6 targets for 80 yards.
Derek Carr (Quarterback): Carr had a surprisingly tough day against a week Bears defense; he went 20 of 33 from the field for 196 yards and 2 touchdowns but also added an interception on the day. Carr is showing some promise but it is not a great sign that his offense still could not finish off the Bears.
Chicago Bears
Matt Forte (Running Back): Forte had a solid game however could not find the end zone. Forte finished with 25 carries on the day for 91 yards and caught all 4 of his targets for 64 yards. Forte could have had a better game but he still remains Chicago's most consistent offensive threat.
Martellus Bennett (Tight End): Martellus Bennett shouldered the load for the Bears offensively ending the day catching 11 out of 13 targets for 83 yards and a touchdown. Bennett will continue to be the Bears primary receiving options in the red zone.
