Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton (Quarterback): Newton had a pretty good day from the field as he was clearly the better starting quarterback in this matchup. Newton finished the game completing 11 of 22 pass attempts for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns as well as 12 carries for 51 yards. Newton is becoming one of the best quarterbacks in fantasy football.

Jonathan Stewart (Running Back): Stewart often got pulled from the game on goal line and red zone situations in favor of Mike Tolbert or Cam Newton himself. Stewart finished the game with 10 carries and only 50 yards.

Greg Olsen (Tight End): Olsen had a surprisingly down day as he only hauled in 2 of his 6 targets for 28 yards. Olsen could've had more of an impact but his drops ending up costing him significant fantasy value.

Ted Ginn (Wide Receiver): Ginn may have had only 2 catches on 3 targets for 18 yards, but his two touchdowns have put him on the fantasy radar for next week.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Vincent Jackson/Mike Evans (Wide Receiver): The year of the veteran wide receiver continues as VJax tops Mike Evans in both targets and receptions. Evans went 3 of 8 from the field only managing to have 32 yards on the day however Vincent Jackson was a monster for most of the day reeling in 10 catches out of 15 targets for 147 yards and a touchdown. Vincent Jackson is looking like the go to man for the Buccaneers.

Doug Martin/Charles Sims (Running Back): For all Martin owners for sat him this week I feel your pain. A terrible matchup (supposedly), a player who has underwhelmed (of course), and a knee injury earlier in the week were all loud and clear signs to stay away from Martin this week. Martin went on a tear against the Panthers finishing the day with 20 carries for 106 yards and yes a touchdown. Charles Sims had a pretty good day as well finishing with 6 carries for 23 yards and 3 targets for 30 yards and a touchdown.
