The Fantasy football Week 4 schedule has some big names on a bye with Rob Gronkowski, Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and Marcus Mariota out and fantasy owners will need some replacements. Players like Tyrod Taylor, Derek Carr, John Brown, Ted Ginn, Charles Clay, Brandin Cooks, Allen Robinson, Michael Floyd, Colin Kaepernick and Sam Bradford all could be solid replacements.

Having a QB out the caliber of Brady could be deadly for fantasy owners in a weekly matchup and this week has some solid options to bring in as replacements. Tyrod Taylor has a nice matchup with the Giants and could be a strong start option, while Derek Carr has been very good to open the year and could be a good one week option with a high upside. Colin Kaepernick has been struggling and he could be available and while the Packers are a tough matchup, he is a boom-bust candidate that could be worth the risk.

Taylor comes in after his best game of the season with 277 yards and three touchdowns while completing 21-of-29 passes and against a Giants secondary that is not that great, he could clean up. Taylor is a solid pick, while Sam Bradford also had a good matchup with the Redskins. The Eagles have been slow to get the offense going this season, but Bradford could be worth a spot start. Carr had another big game with 314 yards and two TDs last week and he now has five TDs and one pick this season and could be a high upside option against the Bears, who have been terrible this season.

Julian Edelman being out is tough because he is a great PPR option and productive receiver and some names to watch this week include John Brown, Ted Ginn and Rishard Matthews. The Cardinals have been playing really well and Brown could have a good game against the Rams after putting up 62 yards last week. Brown had a breakout season last year and could be a good sleeper option.

Ginn has started to be the most consistent option for the Panthers with all of their injuries, while Matthews has taken advantage of DeVante Parker and his slow start. Ginn had 93 yards last week and the week before that he had his first touchdown and with Devin Funchess banged up, he is a solid start pick. Matthews had over 100 yards and six catches last week with two TDs and is worth a look again.

Gronk is almost impossible to replace, but Charles Clay could be a worthy option after he had his best game of the season last week. Clay had five catches for 82 yards and a TD and with the Giants on the schedule, he has a great matchup. The Giants linebackers have been a mess and they likely will not be able to get a good handle on Clay. Clay is a solid option for this week for Gronk.
