Cleveland Browns

Travis Benjamin (Wide Receiver): Benjamin suffered a slight injury to his ribs but this should not keep him out for week 4. Benjamin has been the highest scoring Browns player in fantasy football over the last few weeks and will likely continue that trend unless the running game gets it going at some point.

Duke Johnson/Isaiah Crowell (Running Backs): This one is pretty simple, Johnson was brought in to be the main running back for this Cleveland offense. With Johnson's random nagging injuries during the preseason they had to rely on Crowell and other rushers that they had previously given up on. Now as we move a quarter of the way into the season we see the Browns trying to get Johnson involved as much as possible. Johnson will get all the targets for running backs in the passing game while Crowell will get none. Johnson is the only running back who should find some fantasy relevance going forward.

San Diego Chargers

Keenan Allen/Malcom Smith/Stevie Johnson (Wide Receivers): Johnson looked to be the go to guy in this offense for the first 2 games then Keenan Allen exploded for major fantasy points. In both instances Floyd finished with a modest amount of points. Allen is a boom or bust WR1 so don't go into this matchup expecting he will see 15 targets. Johnson is a red zone threat but Rivers and Johnson's chemistry has looked to wane a bit as the season has gone on. Johnson has a high ceiling but an even lower floor when it comes to fantasy points. Smith should be good for 6 points every week.

Ladarius Green (Tight End): Green suffered two concussions in very short succession from each other forcing him out of his week 3 match up. Now is looking to return for week 4 if he is medically cleared. This will be Greens last chance to steal Antonio Gates starting role and so far he has not come close. Green is a cautious TE2 with low TE1 upside if he can play this week.

Melvin Gordon/Danny Woodhead (Running Backs): Gordon should have plenty of time against this Browns defense as the Chargers should easily outscore the Browns. Gordon and Woodhead could become valuable commodities if this game gets out of hand as the Chargers will try to dominate the time of the possession. Both running backs are RB2's this week.

Philip Rivers (Quarterback): Rivers had an average day from the field and this can be largely attributed to how effective the Minnesota Vikings defense is. Rivers has not yet surpassed 20 points in standard scoring leagues which is pretty terrible. It seems that Rivers has a lesser case of Matt Stafford syndrome. Stafford has been uncharacteristically bad and if you take away 2 of his touchdowns and so has Rivers. Rivers will get a shot at a big game against the Browns however Joe Haden's (Browns star cornerback) rib injury could weigh heavy here, if Haden can play Allen should be covered most of the game and the targets will be spread out. If not then Rivers and Allen could have a big game.
